Watering Tips

For mature turf, water heavily and infrequently. 1" of water per week is recommended. Avoid light frequent watering as that can promote turf disease, and shallow grass root development.

Mowing Tips

We recommend keeping your turf mowed between 3" and 4" in height. Grass height is directly related to grass root development. Mowing higher will lead to deeper grass root development, resulting in thicker, healthier turf.

Watch For Grubs

Grubs can destroy your turf within days if left unchecked. Grubs do most of their damage in the fall. During the fall months periodically tug at your turf - if it pulls back like a carpet you may have a grub infestation. Skunk digging or browning turf may also be a sign of grub activity.
